In loving memory of Betty
The Blissful Life Story

Our Story

At the heart of Blissful Life Clinic is a story of love, loss, and unwavering determination—one that begins with Betty, a woman whose kindness and strength left an indelible mark on those who knew her.

Betty was more than a mentor; she was a second mother, a guiding light in the life of our founder, Magdeleen Möller. She was a woman of immense wisdom and warmth, who taught Magdeleen the joys of baking, the value of resilience, and the power of compassion. But in 2004, Betty's life was cut short by HIV/AIDS—a heartbreaking loss made even more painful by the lack of available treatment at the time.

Magdeleen never forgot the pain of losing Betty. She carried it with her, not as a burden, but as a driving force to ensure that no one else would have to suffer the same fate. As a certified Doula and the owner of Blissful Births Pregnancy Care & Birthing Centre, Magdeleen dedicated her life to providing compassionate, holistic care. But she knew she could do more.

Blissful Life Clinic was born out of this deep-seated passion and purpose. Inspired by Betty’s memory, the clinic is a place of healing, support, and hope for individuals living with HIV. Here, no one is turned away, and no one is defined by their diagnosis. Our mission is simple: to provide stigma-free, comprehensive care that nurtures both body and spirit.

Through personalised medical care, emotional support, and education, we empower our patients to take control of their health and live full, meaningful lives. From HIV treatment and counseling to antenatal care for HIV-positive mothers, we are committed to breaking down barriers and ensuring access to quality healthcare for all.

Betty’s legacy lives on in every life we touch, in every patient who finds hope within our walls. Blissful Life Clinic is not just a healthcare center—it is a tribute to her memory, a promise to fight for a future where no one is denied the care they deserve.

This is for you, Betty. You may be gone, but your love, your kindness, and your spirit continue to inspire us every day.
